Update..... yet another missed opportunity...

After missing a golden opportunity to work for one of the best Games Development studios in the world based in Texas, due to my 'lack of creature development experience' I am feeling rather down.

This not being the first time. First it was Blur then Crytek now another studio! ! What does a man have to do to work over seas!! : )

So I thought it would be an ideal time to update my portfolio with some models other than realistic 3D human females.

So onto monsters, I forgot how easy and how much fun they are to create. More to follow.

I am currently looking for work, so if any studios are interested feel free to contact me.

Cheers

Kray testing

This week I began testing the Kray renderer for Lightwave ( recommended to me by my good friend Paul at Busty Kelp, also known here as Pooby )

Kray is an awesome piece of kit. It is lightning fast and produces simply exquisite results. I highly recommend it to any Lightwave enthusiasts or professionals who wish to create exterior or interior archviz type renders. It's on par with Vray for 3DSMAX.

I have just begun production on assets for the real time engine that Infinite-Realities will be distributing soon, called....wait for it......the Infinite-Engine. Cheesy I know but quite fitting : )

Kray is now an essential part of the pipeline and is already producing some very promising results. Also the Kray forums are tremendous and a guy there called Johnny Quick ( awesome artist ) has been very helpful in getting me and others up to speed with Kray, they also supply some great tutorials and documentation for Kray.

More renders and assets to come as Infinite-Tutorials will be re-launched over the coming months with some rather saucy content : )

Cheers

Update..

It's been a long time since I updated my portfolio, so thought I would add a few bits and update the old blog. Been very busy at work and putting other plans into motion with regards to my online tutorial shop. Infinite - Tutorials.

The shop will be closing down for a few months, as I it will be undergoing some maintenace and a server update to cope with the larger loads of traffic and downloads. Much more content will be added over the coming summer with a brand new look.

So for now everything on the site is half price!

We will also be releasing our own custom built 3D Viewer which will be available very soon for artists to view their own 3D content and allow them to distribute their work as a 3D portfolio for clients and employers.

The 3D engine will be called 'Mobius' and will feature a range of realtime effects and be able to view large amounts of texture data and model data.

Thanks to cgtalk for the rock solid site and fantastic community that they nurture and support , it's still a great place to be !

Watch this space!

Regards
